Wedding rings are a symbol of love and togetherness between two people. Traditionally, wedding rings are identical in design and material, but this does not necessarily have to be the case. I believe that wedding rings should symbolize the love between two people, and that this can be achieved without the rings being identical.
Can wedding rings express togetherness without being identical?
I find from my customers that togetherness is fluid and means different things to different people. For some couples, for example, it might mean using the same type of gold, such as 14-karat, but one ring is organically shaped, and the other is classically shaped. For others, it's important that for them to feel togetherness, the rings must be identical, with strong design elements repeated in both rings.
In my view, there is no right or wrong when it comes to choosing wedding rings. The most important thing is that you as a couple feel it's the right choice. For example, I recently had a couple who, perhaps a bit unconventionally, chose to surprise each other by each designing the ring for their partner with me, and only revealing them on their wedding day. I think this choice demonstrates deep love and courage, and not least, it is perfectly in line with the couple's spirit.
Different Together
Today, it is very common for couples to celebrate the individuality each person brings to the relationship. This is expressed in hobbies, friends, music, clothing style, etc. I believe that unique wedding rings are a natural extension of this trend.

Wedding Ring Budget
In a time of war in Europe and recession, here are a few tips on how you can save money on your wedding rings:
- By choosing 14-karat gold, which is slightly cheaper than 18-karat gold, you can save a few thousand kr.
- In most of my designs, it is possible to opt out of diamonds, for example STEM RING, WAVES RING, and IVY RING. This doesn't have to be a permanent choice; you always have the option to add diamonds later. Here you can also easily save a few thousand, depending on the number and size of the diamonds.
- If you've fallen in love with a ring with a white diamond, for example, 0.20 carat, you can save that amount by choosing a champagne-colored diamond instead. The savings depend on the size and grading of the diamond. However, there isn't much to save on very small diamonds, such as 0.01 carat.
- If you have jewelry with diamonds or other precious stones that are no longer being used and that you would like to have set in your wedding rings, this is also an option.
