Designing the Petrea Ring has been a process filled with details, depth, and a love for craftsmanship. For over a year, I have had the ambition to create a ring with a 0.60 ct diamond – a size that, in my opinion, strikes the perfect balance between eye-catching and wearable. Large enough to beautifully catch the light, yet still comfortable for everyday wear.
A ring created from nature's strength
I knew from the start that the ring should take the shape of an oak tree – a symbol of strength, love, and lasting bonds. The inspiration comes from the oak tree's annual rings, leaves, and organic growth. I sketched countless patterns, where lines and forms emerged on paper, until one day I found the perfect balance. Shortly after, it was shaped in wax, and now it exists in gold.
The Petrea Ring has a soft, organic shape that elegantly cradles the diamond – as if nature itself has shaped it. It is raw yet refined, powerful yet gentle. In addition to the large 0.60 ct TW/VS diamond, the ring is adorned with three smaller diamonds on the ring band, adding extra sparkle and life.
