Inhorgenta in Munich is an important trade fair for the jewellery industry, where participants such as buyers, designers, manufacturers, and trend spotters gather to stay updated on the industry's latest trends and important topics such as sustainability and transparency. As a small jewellery company, I participated for the second time to hear experts speak about the future of the jewellery industry, sustainability, and trends, and to purchase new items to offer my customers.
At the fair, I was inspired by many different gemstones, and particularly Paraiba tourmaline was a stone that was highly featured. This exclusive stone is often more expensive than a diamond and is known for its enchanting, pool-blue colour, which is unique in the market. I also enjoyed seeing the exhibitions from big brands and was inspired by their designs featuring gemstones, such as diamonds and emeralds. Although these pieces of jewellery are far from my own style, it still gave me new ideas and thoughts for my own jewellery production.
As a jewellery manufacturer, it is important for me to stay updated on the latest trends and tendencies, and at Inhorgenta, I could see an increased focus on sustainability and transparency in the jewellery industry. I also had the opportunity to network with other professionals and share knowledge and experiences.
All in all, it was an inspiring trip, and I feel ready to implement my new ideas and knowledge into my own jewellery production. I look forward to participating in Inhorgenta again next year and gaining even more inspiration from the many gemstones, jewellery, and professionals at the fair.
