The process: from idea to finished jewellery
1. Book a meeting – You can easily book an appointment via my website or contact me directly. We'll meet either at the shop or online to discuss your wishes.
2. Diamond selection – We'll go through different options, where I'll present handpicked diamonds based on your preferences.
3. Design and shaping – I'll create a wax model so you can see and adjust the shape of your ring or jewellery.
4. Casting and finishing – Once the design is approved, the jewellery will be cast in recycled gold and set with your chosen diamond.
5. Collection of your unique jewellery – When the jewellery is finished, you can pick it up at the shop or have it delivered.
Natural vs. lab-grown diamonds
Liljefelt Jewellery primarily works with natural diamonds, formed over millions of years deep in the earth's core. These diamonds carry a history and a unique glow that only nature can create. However, if you have specific requests for a lab-grown diamond, that can also be an option – contact me for a dialogue about what suits you best.
